Opus N°15 Grand Jeté Ecart

Also sculpted in 1967, this jump completes the trilogy of the previous leaps. The muse is again Nora Kovach in an aerial leap of freedom. The split is perfectly suspended and maintained by the tension and strength of the muscles bearing the balance of the arms.

It is difficult to say from which ballet this choreography is taken, however, it is likely that it is also taken from “Don Quixote” as in Opus N°12 “Pas de Bourée”.
